(ANSA) — KABUL, DECEMBER 25 — Three foreign NGOs announced today that they are suspending their activities in Afghanistan following the Taliban’s ban on NGOs working with women.
“Pending this announcement, we are suspending our programs and demanding that men and women alike continue to save lives in Afghanistan,” said organizations Save the Children, the Norwegian Refugee Council and Care International. (HAND).
