Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko (51) and his wife Natalia (48) are getting divorced!
Vitali Klitschko told BILD: “We filed for divorce together because we’ve been living apart for years and we want to make it official now. We have a very good relationship and respect each other, but we’ve lived apart in different cities for a long time.”
In a fashion show, the former Ukrainian model met the boxer and now mayor of Kyiv and married him in 1996. The couple have three children together, Yegor, Elizabeth and Maxim. In addition to her great commitment to charitable and social projects, the daughter of two musicians is a passionate singer.
A personal highlight: In 2014, Natalia Klitschko sang the Ukrainian anthem during a boxing match between her brother-in-law Wladimir (45) and Alex Leapai (42).
The former model has lived in Hamburg for a long time. While Vitali remained in Ukraine as mayor of Kyiv, Natalia took care of refugees from the Hanseatic city. More recently, she has collected donations for the Klitschko Foundation’s “We are all Ukrainians 2022” campaign.

She still thinks about her future ex-husband every day. “My day starts when I write to everyone I love and know and I’m so happy to get answers and know: yes, they are alive,” she said in March on the ARD program “We Help – Together for Ukraine.”
Vitali writes to her every morning saying he’s fine. That he keeps fighting.
