Marília Gabriela, 75, decided to give up her busy life of TV programs and events. Today the artist lives free, easy and free to do what she wants and not when she wants.
“I feel very good. I don’t know if you can believe it, but I’m calm for the first time. I read, watch movies and travel whenever I want. And then when I wanted to read and hear a lot about these new people,” she said in an interview with the newspaper O Globo.
With recent studies, Gabi became curious about the emergence of digital influencers on social networks and herself launched a series of interviews on the internet to present this universe to the public. Names like Boca Rosa, MC Cabelinho, Leo Picon, Hugo Gloss and others chatted with the journalist.
“I was curious to know who these people are, where does the extraordinary power of having millions of followers who love you, adore you come from. I thought they were all great,” she said.
I became obsessed when they disparaged some. On my Instagram they said they loved my interviews but refused to see them, especially with MC Cabelinho. These are people who won’t stop thinking that they must have something special for so many people to follow them.

The presenter now throws herself back into the world of cinema, theater and books in search of inspiration for life. After spending a lot on the production of the interview series, she will only continue the project if she has a sponsor.
“I love talking to other people, to get to know them and recognize myself in them. I believe the mechanism that made me do what I have done in life so far was to look for myself in others. I may not do this program the way it was. When I get sponsored because it’s a very expensive game I’m able to do new interviews, but with different types of people.
Marília Gabriela celebrates her 75th birthday on March 31st and has experienced the taste of solitude at home without her children and being single. However, she says I find other ways to seek pleasure without having anyone.
With all these activities that I have decided to do in life. I get along well with the girls (who work with me). After 6pm nobody calls me, I’m alone. Traveling is a pleasure. When the kids get together it’s wonderful, theater is another pleasure.
