Last week, a Hawaiian citizen was found guilty of touching and picking up a baby bison that was allegedly trying to cross a river to find its mother in Yellowstone Park.
As a result of the contact, the calf was rejected by its mother and the rest of the herd, and had to be sacrificed, as experts say is often the case with this species.
O A new case occurred Sunday (4) in Grand Teton Park, Wyoming. Park officials are investigating and requesting assistance in collecting the tourists per U.S. National Parks guidelines, Visitors must keep a distance of at least 23 meters from bisonfor security reasons and the tendency to reject it after contact with humans.
“At approximately 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, two individuals were seen approaching and touching a bison calf at the south end of Elk Ranch Flats in Grand Teton National Park.
