After a tourist was convicted of picking up a bison calf, US authorities are searching for two other men who touched the animal

Last week, a Hawaiian citizen was found guilty of touching and picking up a baby bison that was allegedly trying to cross a river to find its mother in Yellowstone Park.

As a result of the contact, the calf was rejected by its mother and the rest of the herd, and had to be sacrificed, as experts say is often the case with this species.

O A new case occurred Sunday (4) in Grand Teton Park, Wyoming. Park officials are investigating and requesting assistance in collecting the tourists per U.S. National Parks guidelines, Visitors must keep a distance of at least 23 meters from bisonfor security reasons and the tendency to reject it after contact with humans.

“At approximately 1:00 p.m. Sunday, June 4, two individuals were seen approaching and touching a bison calf at the south end of Elk Ranch Flats in Grand Teton National Park. The incident is currently under investigation and the park is asking “I have no information,” the park’s administration said in a statement.

In this case, still according to the administration of Grand Teton, the Puppy was not rejected.

Nevertheless, Walters was convicted and has to pay a fine of US$500 (about R$2,500). In addition, he must do community service and bear the costs associated with the procedure.
