The war between Anitta and Melody, one of the most mediacovered fights of the last two years, seemed to have come to an end. This is because those in power invited the young girl on Wednesday (20) to appear at the “Ensaios da Anitta” event that will take place on January 4 in Salvador (BA). But the peace agreement was shortlived. The invitation was officially withdrawn.
The reason was not a provocation from Love, Love's voice. The reason for this is that Ensaios da Anitta is sponsored by an alcoholic beverage brand and Melody is 16 years old. By law, minors are not allowed to work in places where alcoholic beverages are sold.
“We inform you that the participation of the singer Melody in the event in Salvador on January 6 has been canceled. This decision was made due to legal issues surrounding events related to alcoholic beverages,” the event’s official account posted on Instagram. “The participation of the artists Dilsinho and Solange Almeida, already announced for the same date, will take place normally.”
Anitta surprised fans by announcing that she would have Melody with her at one of the rehearsals. “I woke up here and it was playing 'I gave you love, love, you didn't want it, I wanted it'. Then I thought, 'This is it! I will call Melody to rehearse in Salvador,'” she wrote on her profile on X (formerly Twitter).
The two repeatedly argued on social media and Anitta was even accused of removing one of Melody's songs from YouTube. The teenager also suggested that Girl From Rio bought a car like hers out of envy, and even politics became a source of contention for the two.
