This Thursday morning (14), the producer confirmed the development of Death Stranding, a film adaptation of the game of the same name, with the giant of the electronic games industry Hideo Kojima. Although the film was officially released a few months ago, this is the first concrete and new step towards its production.
Under the banner of Kojima Productions, the film will delve into the mysteries surrounding the apocalyptic dystopia of the game released in 2019. With more than 16 million people currently connected to the narrative, the title has already arrived on consoles with a cinematic flair. The cast includes Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Guillermo del Toro and Margaret Qualley.
The plot revolves around Sam Bridges, a man who must face a world completely changed by Death Stranding, an apocalyptic event. With his last hopes for a future, the protagonist sets out on a journey to rebuild the destroyed world step by step.
