Rio Comedian Rafael Portugal, who commanded the ‘CAT BBB’ segment on ‘Big Brother Brasil,’ wrote an open letter in support of his friend Dani Calabresa, the attraction’s current commander. Dani faced criticism on social media and Rafael asked for “respect and affection” and an end to the comparisons through a post on Instagram.
“Pointless materials and many words of comparison and lack of respect. I thank you for the affection for the work I have done at CAT, but I also ask for affection and respect for my friend Dani Calabresa. I remember when I was still dreaming about it , when comedian and actor sat to work and sat in an internet cafe, I watched stand up videos and there was Dani already doing and creating lyrics, opening avenues and possibilities, conquering the space and being an inspiration”, continued he continued.
“I am privileged to be part of Dani’s generation, which does everything with great affection and talent. Thank you Dani and all the respect in the world for your work and career,” concluded Rafael Portugal.
