Bahian singer Ivete Sangalo and businessman Fabio Almeida broke off their professional partnership after 12 years. The removal happened after a disagreement between them. According to columnist Mônica Bergamo, Almeida would have complained about not having access to company spending.
The decision to end the partnership came from the entrepreneur himself. Since then, the dialogue between the two has only taken place through lawyers. The column’s investigation states that although Almeida facilitated commercial partnerships with the artist, he did not have access to the financial reports.
They also began to have conflicts about the singer’s professional future. Fabio, Ivete and their sister Cynthia Salgado are partners at Iessi Music, which manages the artist’s career. According to the column, Fabio did not feel valued in society.
The businessman also complained about temperament swings in Ivete and her sister.
