After fatal shootings in Prague: University will remain closed until February

Following the fatal gun attack at Charles University in Prague, the Faculty of Arts will remain closed until at least the end of January. The college explained on Friday on its website that exams at the end of the winter semester in mid-January would only be held on a voluntary basis. Homework can be postponed.

Just before Christmas, a 24-year-old university student shot 13 people in a university building in Prague's historic center and then committed suicide. One injured person later died in hospital. 24 people were injured in the attack.
