After a fright, the son of Andrea Sadi and Andre Rizek was discharged from Copa Dor hospital this Friday (19). 1yearold Little Pedro was hospitalized in the pediatric intensive care unit for seven days, but the reason for the hospitalization was not disclosed by the couple.

The information was confirmed by Rizek on his Instagram profile, who wrote a text about his son’s recovery. Rizek recalled why he chose the heir’s name 18 years ago after venturing into the Peruvian Amazon and being caught off guard by critical weather conditions.

“Today, as I write this by your side on our last night in the hospital, I was touched by that promise,” he wrote. “I was scared… lucky for you, you are already much stronger than me! You spent seven nights in a pediatric intensive care unit and never gave up.”

“Even with needles, wires and things beeping 24 hours a day and curling you up to sleep, you’ve managed to infect everyone here with your naughty smile, love of life and will to the world. How did you manage to stay happy? and excited here son?” he asked in the caption.

“Your dad, so big, couldn’t handle it and ended up in the ER on the fourth day, where he became my mom’s joke for many years. When I grow up one day… I want to be like you, Pedro,” he added, thanking the medical team for their work over the past few days.

Rizek and journalist Andréia Sadi are also parents to João, Pedro’s twin.
