Emerald Evgeniya, fighter who became known as Ukrainian Joan of ArcHe published a video on his social networks this Sunday (1st) in which he wishes happiness to those who defend the country after more than a year of the war.

“Remember that the war is not over yet,” the businesswoman and former soldier warned in the caption of the video, which shows her in the back of a pickup truck on a dirt road.

“Happy Defenders of Ukraine Day. A year has passed since I was no longer at the front. And it seems like it all happened yesterday. Life has changed a lot,” he wrote in the post.

Emerald lived a peaceful life with her daughter in Kiev, where she ran her own jewelry store. Twelve years earlier she had decided to abandon her military training to become a “businesswoman”, but when the war began she returned to the army.

During this time, the Ukrainian married a comrade and gave birth to a girl. “It turns out that from the love of two soldiers in this war, a new soul was born. A future defender of Ukraine.
