Trouble at London’s Heathrow Airport has turned the place into a “sea of bags” (Credit: Reproduction/Twitter)
Passengers passing through London’s Heathrow Airport have been forced to travel without luggage following a disruption in the airport’s system. The incident happened over the weekend.
The issue was subsequently resolved and airport staff helped passengers who did not have a trip to locate their luggage. The other passengers who traveled without luggage will be contacted to receive their luggage, the BBC reported.
Many shared the resulting “sea of pockets” (more photos can be found at the end of the article).

Suddenly a slight wait for my luggage to arrive @heathrow airport is even more inconsequential at least it came on the same flight and flies with me … pic.twitter.com/h42BfCe0mo

A Heathrow Airport spokesman told the BBC the issue had been resolved and apologized for the inconvenience.
