Defenseman Madison Bowey, who wore the colors of the Laval Rocket last season, has decided to transfer to the Continental Hockey League (KHL).
Dinamo Minsk announced on Thursday that the Manitoban had been awarded a one-year contract. The 28-year-old athlete failed to persuade the Montreal Canadiens organization to offer him a new contract after signing a one-year deal in the summer of 2022.

Bowey scored 13 points in 35 games with the Rocket and was never recalled by the Habs. This is the first time he has not played a game in the National League during a season since 2017-2018.
The former Washington Capitals, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks have 40 points in 158 career games on the Bettman Circuit.
