Following the release of A Menina Que Matou os Pais and The Boy Who Killed My Parents, which tells the story of the murder of Manfred and Marísia von Richthofen, the Movie maybe there is another version. The third production will explore more topics about Suzane and the Cravinhos brothers.

According to Globo journalist Patrícia Kogut, a third film is already being planned by the production companies Galeria Distribuidora, Santa Rita Films and Grupo Telefilmes. The idea would be to work through the four years between the crime in 2002 and the trial of the accused in 2006. However, the sequel is not yet confirmed.

According to Kogut, some of the cast of the previous two films were already in negotiations to reprise their roles. Among the film’s names are great actors and actresses such as Carla Diaz, who plays Suzane von Richthofen, and Leonardo Bitencourt, who played Daniel Cravinhos, Suzane’s boyfriend. Leonardo Medeiros, Vera Zimmermann and Alla Souza Lima also appear in the films. As the project is still in its infancy, it is unknown if director Mauricio Eça and screenwriters Ilana Casoy and Raphael Montes will reprise their previous roles.

Currently, Suzane von Richtofen continues to serve her sentence in the Tremembé women’s prison in São Paulo. Meanwhile, Daniel Cravinhos has been free since 2018 when his defense team achieved his promotion to open regime. Cristian Cravinhos was released in 2017 but returned to Tremembé’s prediction the following year for involvement in an attempted bribery.
