In Ukraine, air warnings were raised across the country on Saturday night. As a result, there were reports of explosions from several cities. In Kharkov, in eastern Ukraine, there were at least three attacks, including a gas pipe, which led to a fire, Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote on Telegram. From the capital Kiev, parts of rockets were said to have landed in a parking lot in a central district.

Ukraine says it shot down 41 Russian missiles and two drones overnight. In total, the attackers fired 51 rockets.

The 16th floor of a residential building next to the parking lot also caught fire, Mayor Vitali Klitschko wrote on Telegram. At least two people were injured.

Correspondents for national broadcaster Suspilne Media also reported that explosions were also heard in the cities of Dnipro and Kremenchuk. Russia invaded its neighbor 16 months ago. More recently, rocket and drone attacks have increased, especially in the capital Kiev.
