Scenes of regret recorded last Thursday, May 19, went viral on social media when a passenger and a United Airlines employee were shown in a heated argument that turned into physical aggression.

The videotaped incident took place at Newark Airport in New Jersey and involved a exsoccer player who used a wheelchair to transport his luggage instead of paying for a specific cart.

The confusion would have started after the airline employee pointed out to the passenger the way he was carrying his luggage. When the video begins, the exchange of physical assaults has already begun. At one point, the United checkin agent punches the man in the black jacket in the face.

In the next second, the passenger approaches the agent and hits him with two punches, causing the agent to fall into the airline counter. He stands up, stunned and bloodyfaced, but they continue to argue from then on. After the brawl, the United Airlines employee was taken to the hospital with an eye injury.

According to the Daily Mail website, the passenger identified as Brendan Langley, 27, was arrested by airport authorities and charged with physical assault and the United Airlines employee was fired from his position although he received no charges. .

Without further explanation, a company spokesman said: “United Airlines has no tolerance for violence at our airports or on board our aircraft and we are working with local authorities to investigate the matter.”
