Alain Delon and the revelations about shock phrases: "I want to die" Adnkronos

“I want to die, life is over”: These are the shocking words that Alain Delon is said to have uttered last July 20 during a doctor's visit to the French actor's country house in Douchy in the Loire Valley. The health inspection took place as part of the judicial investigation against Hiromi Rollin, whose lady-in-waiting was denounced by the actor's three children, Anouchka, Alain-Fabien and Anthony Delon.

Since 2019, the year in which he suffered a serious stroke, Alain Delon has been very physically weakened, according to the investigation report available to the newspaper Le Parisien. Last summer, the now 88-year-old actor made some worrying revelations to the doctor sent to Douchy: the icon of French cinema apparently expressed a desire to die and even stated that he “didn't expect anything more” because his “life” was over ” .

In a report subsequently sent to investigators, the doctor also stated that the interpreter of Luchino Visconti's masterpieces “Rocco and His Brothers” and “The Leopard” was “in a state of physical and psychological exhaustion with a strong risk of suicide.”

Last July, in addition to the interview with the doctor, Alain Delon was interrogated by the Orléans gendarmes in connection with the complaint of his three children against Hiromi Rollin. According to the report published by Le Parisien, the star appeared weakened and “no longer able to walk without crutches.” The medical report also states that “speech is very poor” and that the actor was “unable to get up from the chair on his own.” Finally, the investigators come to the conclusion that “Alain Delon was already in a state of weakness that was known to everyone” in January 2022.

Last week, French newspaper Le Figaro revealed that Hiromi Rollin, described as the actor's carer, lady-in-waiting or even companion depending on the timing, had reported Delon's three children for attempted murder of their father. Rollin sent a letter to the Montargis prosecutor's office, which is investigating the star's health, asking to conduct “urgent investigations” into facts similar to a “premeditated attempt to murder” the actor's children on their father.
