At the heart of the debate that accompanies his son Anthony's request for guardianship against Alain Delon, supported by another son, Alain-Fabien, the 88-year-old actor's judgment is the subject of all questions and interpretations.
In an interview with Le Parisien published on Monday, January 15, Christophe Ayela, Alain Delon's lawyer, explains that, contrary to his sons' claims, his client has not lost his clarity and has only become physically weakened be.
“I do not agree with his sons who want to place him under guardianship. That seems unnecessary and annoying to me,” says Me Ayela. “I say he is still very consistent. Alain Delon is certainly weakened, but he is still with us.”

Medical treatment in question
Me Ayela said she hoped that this doctor would recommend the resumption of medical treatment from which her client no longer benefits and which Alain Delon's daughter Anouchka insists on. “I find it unimaginable and shocking that his sons stopped his treatment without medical advice,” he emphasized.
For his part, Anthony Delon reiterated in an interview published on Sunday by the Swiss daily Le Matin that his father was not left without care. “He is being looked after by an extremely competent doctor here in Douchy” and “we also have recognized specialists in France,” he said. “One of the experimental treatments he was given was stopped last summer with the agreement of my father, brother and sister. Because he could no longer endure this treatment and this relentlessness actually threatened to kill him,” said Anthony Delon.
