Alanis Guillen reveals relationship status with Jesuita Barbosa after behindthescenes video of ‘Pantanal’ kiss went viral

Alanis Guillen excelled in the role of Juma in Pantanal, while the telenovela broke viewership records. With so much audience attention, ships also emerged between her and Jesuita Barbosa, who plays Jove in the feuilleton. This week, in an interview with Quem magazine, the actress opened up about rumors that the novel has transitioned from fiction to real life.

Alanis confessed her surprise at this speculation about her personal life and backstage at the soap opera. “Man, I often look up and I’m like, ‘Where did you get that?’ But I understand that people want to comment on everything, want to know everything. Now I’m convinced that when people are creating their versions of the facts, it’s not worth getting so worked up about what people are saying,” she said.

Asked directly about the situation with Jesuita, Alanis replied that the two were just good friends and praised her onscreen romantic partner. “There is no way not to be [bons amigos]. While filming a soap opera, the cast spends a lot of time together and eventually becomes family. This whole process of making pantanal is a lot of fun. The Jesuit is very kind. We have fun with Juma and Jove,” he said.

Rumors of a possible affair between Alanis and the Jesuit grew louder this Friday (20) as the star celebrated his birthday. The actress celebrated the cast of Pantanal with a cupcake and congratulations at her place of residence. But what really grabbed attention was a video circulating the internet of the actor kissing the young woman. Just look:

The fact is that shooting in the Pantanal was a great adventure. During the chat with the magazine, Alanis also revealed some of the perrengues she experienced. “In one scene in the Tapera, anteaters came, they started climbing my leg, and I had nowhere to run. To record Juma’s scenes, I’m always barefoot and it was scary (laughs). I caught Chigger too… It all turns out to be funny in the end. On one of the recording days, I was dehydrated despite drinking eight liters of water. I stayed in IV and in bed. This dehydration happened because of the sun, the heat and the physical exertion,” she recalls.

Faced with the great challenge of bringing Juma to life, Alanis even gave up on her decision not to eat meat and spoke about the experience. “It was part of the research for the character. I hadn’t eaten meat in five years. When Juma came, I wanted to do some research. Meat brings a little more density to the body tone, a different energy. I wanted to try this for the character, which is a jaguar and feeds on other animals. That’s why I ate meat again during this investigation for the role,” he explained.

But the artist emphasized that change is always welcome and that she is not defined by just one phase of life. “I don’t want it to limit me. I’m different in every phase and I’m happy to allow myself that. When I decided to do this research, I knew my body could accept it or not. I’ve felt some interesting changes. That doesn’t mean it’s better or worse.”
