Alanis Morissette caused quite a fan frenzy while performing in New York City on Friday.
“The You Oughta Know” was photographed arriving for her guest appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where she was greeted by a crowd of people.
Morissette, 49, smiled as she walked toward the front doors of Studio 6B at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
The Ottawa, Ontario, Canada native looked rock chic in black patent pants, a matching jacket over a black t-shirt, and pink sneakers.
She also had a light black jacket that she wore as she left the studio after her appearance on Fallon.

That evening, the superstar musician styled her dark brown locks in loose layers and rocked a sexy smokey eyeshadow look.
The Jagged Little Pill artist was escorted from her vehicle to the studio doors with the help of her handlers and Tonight Show security.
She was also photographed after the talk show, appearing happy to reunite with her admirers on the sidewalk.
While Morissette has released ten studio albums throughout her illustrious career, it is her third album, Jagged Little Pill (1995), for which she will forever be known due to its incredible success.
The alternative rock-oriented album contained six hits, including “You Oughta Know,” “Hand In My Pocket,” “You Learn,” “Ironic,” “Head Over Feet,” and “All I Real Want.”
The music and lyrics for the now classic album were a stylistic departure from the dance-pop sound of their first two releases, Alanis (1991) and Now Is The Time (1992).

Morissette's studio album Jagged Little Pill became a worldwide phenomenon, selling more than 33 million copies and being adapted into a rock musical of the same name
Over the years, Jagged Little Pill has sold more than 33 million copies worldwide and was even adapted into a rock musical of the same name in 2017, which was first performed at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
It also began previews of a version on Broadway, but was forced to close in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It reopened on October 21, 2021 and closed on December 17 of the same year. It then won two awards out of 15 nominations at the 74th Tony Awards in New York City.
Morissette was most recently on tour following the release of her latest album The Storm Before the Calm (2022).
She is collaborating with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and Morgan Wade for the Triple Moon Tour, which begins June 9, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona and includes 31 shows through August 10 in Los Angeles.
