Lula later confirmed that the PSB would help shape his future government’s plan.
“It is important to know that this list, if formalized, will not only serve to contest the elections. Perhaps winning the elections is easier than the task ahead of us to win back this country,” said the PT candidate, a political organization that formed March 14.

Lula, who was rehabilitated after regaining his rights in politics, will seek a third term at the polls after serving 580 days in political prison and having his sentences overturned. He leads all polls by a consistent margin, despite far-right leader Jair Bolsonaro’s re-election intentions.
