Singer Alejandro Sanz and Cuban artist Rachel Valdés have decided to end their relationship of more than three years, Hola magazine announced on Saturday June 3rd.
Last weekend, Sanz, 54, shared an unexpected message on his social networks, expressing that he was very sad, which led to speculation about his emotional state.
The musician and his girlfriend are no longer living together and according to the report, the couple have been going through a “very strong” emotional crisis in recent months and it was the singer’s decision to end their relationship.
Hello magazine! confirms the split and reveals that Valdés has left their shared home in Somosaguas, Madrid, taking all their belongings with them. The separation is attributed to wear and tear in living together and disagreements.
A source close to the Cuban artist reveals that a few days before Sanz’s message, Rachel left home taking her clothes and personal belongings with her, and that the decision to end the relationship was made by Alejandro Sanz himself, after numerous disagreements and conflicts some of which were public.
After his first message, the Spanish musician made that clear had relapsed but who believes that with the right help, he can overcome what is happening to him? He also stated that despite everything, he did not want to cancel his tour.
“In these days I have received a lot of love in different ways and I am very grateful for all of them. I had a strong flare this weekend and although the light hasn’t quite arrived yet, it seems like a firefly has woken up in my chest,” he said.
“I don’t want to put the tour on hold because I think that with the right help and a little understanding and support with the shows, we can move it forward. I also think locking myself up is not a good idea. Thanks.” for the warmth. Let’s go for tomorrow’s day. The sun is on its way,” he added.
His partner, Cuban plastic artist Rachel Valdés, did not respond to the singer’s words.
The popular musician’s releases arrived in Spain just days before his tour of various countries, the opening concert of which is scheduled for June 3 in Pamplona. The tour will last through October and will feature more than thirty confirmed performances.
