Alessandro, Pippo Baudo’s secret son / The discovery at the age of 30 after a tragedy

Alessandro, who is the secret son of Pippo Baudo

It is an amazing but also touching story Alexander, the secret son (not anymore!) of Pippo Baudo. Alessandro, now 60, is the son of Mirella Adinolfi, who was married to well-known RAI manager Tullio Formosa at the time of the story with Pippo. And it was precisely the latter that Alessandro believed to be a son of until he was 30, when Formosa fell ill.

Born in Rome in 1962, Alessandro Baudo lived a peaceful youth alongside Tullio Formosa and his mother, Mirella Adinolfi, both of whom he believed to be his parents. When Tullio Formosa moved to Canada to work for a few months at the age of six, he saw Pippo Baudo sporadically and considered him his uncle.

Alessandro Baudo when he found out he was Pippo’s son

When the RAI executive fell ill and aware of his impending death, he decided to reveal the truth to Alessandro through his mother. So, in the year 200, the boy discovered that his real father was Pippo Baudo. In fact, the more than 80-year-old conductor had another child alongside Tiziana, and it is Alessandro who has since emigrated to Australia to pursue his passion for music. However, Alessandro recently returned to Italy to be closer to his now 86-year-old father Pippo. It was a DNA test, not wanted by Pippo Baudo, just for practice, to confirm paternity about 20 years ago. Since then, father and son began a relationship that continues peacefully to this day.
