Alexandra Lapierre, the former OD candidate with us and new mother to little Loganborn of her relationship with her lover Yannick Martell, was in La Semaine des 4 Julie.
The young woman was present on the set of Julie Snyder to talk about her brand new podcast, Destination Bébé, which explores both the good and the bad sides of motherhood.
We were able to hear an excerpt from her podcast during her visit, in which she mentioned that she had made two appointments for an abortion, a memory that also brought Alexandra to tears.
“I look at my baby and think: Tabarnouche, lucky I didn’t do that,” she said very emotionally.
“I understand you, it’s moving to think about it. And why did you change your mind?” asked Julie Snyder.
“I’m 29 now. I had Logan a week before my birthday. I was 28 years old, I had gone there in my life but as a couple I had not gone there. I thought to myself: Let’s go. It’s been so many long conversations, three and a half month conversations like, hey, I’m keeping it, we’re not keeping it, what do we do? (…) We’re a new, new, new couple, we’re starting to love each other through it all, it’s big,” Alexandra honestly admitted.
She also mentioned that she and Yannick had doubts on their part in light of this new announcement.
In the end, the lovebirds still seem so solid and their little Logan is undoubtedly the best gift of a lifetime!
We wish the little family many happy moments, to hear Alexandra’s five episode podcast, go to Radio-Canada OHdio!
