Alexandre Pires announced this Wednesday (14) that he will go on tour in 2024 with the original formation with the band Só Pra Contrariar.
The news was published in Som Brasil as a tribute to Alexandre. The program included an interview by Pedro Bial and musical interludes.
The tour was called “SPC Acústico 2 O Último Encontro” and marks Alexandre’s official departure from the band.
The last album the singer recorded as the leader of the group was Só Para Contrariar Acústico in 2002, but he did not embark on an actual farewell tour.
Alexandre, his brother Fernando Pires, Hamilton Faria, Juliano Pires, Luís Fernando, Sérgio Sales and Alexandre Popó will once again take the stage together to sing the group’s outstanding hits.
The first show is scheduled for April 6th at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. You also have to pass through Florianópolis, Curitiba, Rio, Belo Horizonte and cities in Portugal. Dates see below.
Ticket sales start this Thursday (3pm) at 8pm on the official website.
