Alfa Romeo is finally moving forward. As we witness the debut of the new Tonale SUV, we now have an appointment for the presentation of the supercar promised by the Italian company.
That’s why on August 30th we’ll be able to take our first look at this model awaited by fans of the brand. The confirmation came directly from the big boss Jean-Philippe Imparato, who presented revised versions of the Giulia and Stelvio models on the side of China.
The new supercar is important for the manufacturer because it could be the last in the manufacturer’s history to be equipped with an internal combustion engine, unless the legal regulations change.
Jean-Philippe Imparato does not hide his enthusiasm for this model: “This project is a dream come true, inspired by a brave team that wanted to achieve something unique.” »

Detail of the future Alfa Romeo 6C
On the occasion of this announcement, the company has released a new image that makes our mouths water. We will recall that at the beginning of the year we were shown one of the lights of the car. What to expect ? Rumors go in all directions.
The company has already hinted at a retro design that could possibly be inspired by the gorgeous T33 Stradale. The supercar is expected to adopt the 6C name, which would make sense given the fire design already revealed, but that’s all yet to be clarified. The whole thing also suggests the presence of a 6-cylinder engine under the hood. Again an easy conclusion if we consider that the 4C was powered by a 4-cylinder, the 8C by a V8. And Alfa Romeo has a six-cylinder, 2.9-litre turbocharged engine that powers the Quadrifoglio versions of the Giulia and Stelvio. Normally it delivers 505 hp, but in the GTA variant of the Giulia it is 540 hp. We can expect a little more from this eventual 6C.
The edition of the expected model would be limited. We are actually talking about a flagship product, a signature of the kind that the company has offered us many times throughout its history. 829 copies of the previous 8C model were produced (500 coupés and 329 cabriolets).
While you also have to expect a hefty bill, as this model will be a collector’s classic, it will be more of an investment for some.
The world premiere of this creation will take place in Arese at the Alfa Romeo Museum in northern Italy.
