“We’re having a lot of fun,” Neetu Kapoor said when asked about the reports and speculation surrounding her son Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding to Alia Bhatt. Now the bride-to-be has shared her first reaction to all the frenzy, and it’s just hilarious.
As the clock ticks down towards the big day, fans, friends and members of the media have released all sorts of conflicting reports and claims about the long-awaited nuptials. Among the many things that fell under the bride’s radar was a hilarious role of a YouTuber, Nick, who shared his reaction to news of Alias and Ranbir’s April 17 wedding.
“Me on April 17th,” he captioned the clip, which shows him running behind a car with a heart-shaped sign that reads “Alia Marries Ranbir.”
In the comments, Alia posted a laughing emoticon and wrote “Ded”.
On Friday, Neetu was asked about the reports of the wedding, after which she admitted that she enjoys reading about the various wedding dates that are circulating in the media. “Let the astrologers come out with dates, some say April 15, 17.”
“I’ve heard about it (the wedding) for two years, but I don’t know when (it’s going to happen). Let’s see when. Sometimes it will happen at Ranthambore, RK Studios… Locations and dates are constantly changing (referring to media reports). I hope and pray it happens very soon,” the actress told PTI.
According to the latest updates, Ranbir’s Block, RK Studios, Krishna Raj Bungalow and even the Kapoor building under construction have all been illuminated with fairy lights for the wedding celebrations which begin on April 13th.
Meanwhile, both Ranbir and Alia spent their weekend attending to their work commitments. Both stars have been spotted on the film sets while filming for their upcoming projects.
