In this regard, it became known that Franco Zanelatto, one of the new players in the squad, was injured and was unable to perform the relevant duties.
The blue-and-white attacker gave details of his situation when he had to speak to the press after completing training with the side commanded by Guillermo Salas.
“The truth is that I couldn’t play in the training game because I have a sprained ankle, but we’re here and I’ll be back on the pitch next week,” declared Franco Zanelatto to a standing ovation.
On the other hand, the Alianza Lima player stressed that his arrival in the blue and white squad was a great success and he is looking for a way to start the season.
“I feel good with the welcome that the technical command and all my teammates have given me. Now I’m going for it and I’m trying to earn a place in the team,” said the footballer.

The Professional Soccer League reported that League 1 will start this Friday 3rd February. However, this day is subject to changes depending on the political situation in the country.
