Alice Evans has launched another attack on her estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd, claiming she needs to “speak her truth” on social media as she “don’t have the money” to afford a lawyer.
Fantastic Four actor Gruffudd, 48, filed for joint custody of his two daughters Elsie, eight, and Ella, 12, earlier this month after his estranged wife Evans, 53, filed for sole custody amid a bitter divorce.
In Instagram posts on Tuesday, Evans accused Gruffudd of using money that should have been spent on her daughters’ welfare on his legal case and insisted he was not telling the truth, describing them in legal filings as “bad parents.” “ referred to.

The 102 Dalmatians star went on to claim her ex tried to ‘ruin’ her name, saying: ‘Ask my kids. As does everyone who knows us. Being labeled a ‘bad parent’ when I’ve given up everything for them and don’t sleep at night if I’m worried about how to feed them, check on their health, take them to the dentist…’
She continued, “For those of you who might be thinking, why does she KEEP posting on Instagram when his lawyers are going to smack her for it?
‘But think about it. He’s spending money that should have gone to the girls’ education, sports and college to use a lawyer to gag me.’
Evans added that she was “silenced” by the domestic violence injunction Gruffudd issued against her.
She continued, “HE gets to say it. HE so lies about me being a bad parent (You couldn’t be further from the truth.)
‘But me? I face fines, jail time if I tell MY TRUTH about what is really happening. And all I have is social media because I can’t afford a lawyer.
“Isn’t this a microcosm of rich and poor America? I will probably go to court for posting this. (another example of how he treats his children)
“You can commend him for doing the right thing. For going through the courts. He may be able to take my kids away from me (good luck with that guy)
“In any case, I didn’t do anything wrong and will keep fighting. [sic]’

In a follow-up post, Evans shared an image of court filings that appeared to relate to her social media activity.
The context of the submission was not clear, only Alice’s name and the words “Instagram” and “Twitter” were visible.
Evans captioned the pictures: “Insane. Check his OWN Instagram account.
“It’s a picture of him and Bianca with the caption ‘FINALLY someone who makes me smile.’
However, Alice’s testimony was false as the picture in question – posted last October when Ioan went public with his actress girlfriend Bianca Wallace – was actually captioned: ‘Thank you for making me smile again. ”
Records: In a follow-up post, Evans shared an image of court records that appeared to relate to her social media activity
Inaccurate: Evans captioned the images, “Insane. Check his OWN Instagram account. It’s a picture of him and Bianca with the caption, “FINALLY someone to make me smile.”
Despite her inaccuracy, Evans continued: “By your own admission, Mr Gruffudd, your children have access to Instagram.
“You swore on her life when you left us that there would be no other woman.
“But when it came out, (someone from Harrow you suddenly met in June ha ha ha) DID YOU CHOOSE TO TELL YOUR KIDS ON INSTAGRAM?
“You broke their hearts.”
Evans has previously accused her ex and Wallace of pursuing a three-year affair – there’s no evidence Gruffudd was unfaithful.
Web has reached out to Gruffudd representatives for comment.

Gruffudd filed a motion for joint custody in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, July 8, asking for custody and visitation rights to see his children.
The actor claimed in the filing that Evans deliberately tried to cut off communications between him and the children.
He also requested that the girls attend in-person therapy and reunion therapy via Zoom pending a court-ordered custody mediation.
Last month, Evans claimed she was “completely out of money for food and bills,” but explained her focus is “on being the best mom I can be.”
In an Instagram post with one of her daughters in the picture, she wrote a scathing comment about her lack of money as the court case between her and her estranged husband continues.
She claimed that she would not receive any financial support from Ioan and that she was struggling to pay her legal fees and that she could not “feed or clothe” her daughters.
“I’ve been trying to keep everything together while being threatened, completely out of money for food and bills, and just found out someone tried to force our outside door open last night,” she said.
“But it’s always worth it! (And the one who doesn’t currently want to be photographed.)
“What ever. Above all, I will be the best mother I can be. Forever. you will never lose me Thank you everyone for so much love and support! I’m having a bit of a hard moment!’

Evans claimed in June that Gruffudd was able to extend his domestic violence restraining order (DVRO) against her, but she denied any allegations of abuse and insisted he was “chasing Johnny Depp-style fame.”
It has since been revealed that Gruffudd was seeking a continuation of a restraining order against Evans.
Gruffudd filed for an injunction against Evans in February 2022, offering 113 pages of abusive text messages, emails and social media posts from Alice.
To bring matters to a close, Gruffudd hired Brad Pitt’s divorce attorney Anne Kiley, who is believed to have demanded that the order – which requires Evans not to contact or molest him or his girlfriend – continue for at least a while another year.

The couple officially took to Instagram in October after posting a picture of them along with the words, “Thanks for making me smile again.”
Evans and Gruffudd met on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000 when the actress was dating Pablo Picasso’s grandson Olivier.
The former couple got engaged six years later after she gave him an ultimatum about their relationship, and they wed in September 2007 in an intimate ceremony in Mexico.
Gruffudd has not publicly addressed the couple’s divorce.
