ALISON BOSHOFF: Pamela Anderson reveals Tommy Lee is the only man she’s ever truly loved

She’s had six marriages, two annulments, and four divorces. But Pamela Anderson is telling a Netflix documentary that her first husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, is the only man she’s ever truly loved.

In Pamela, A Love Story, which released January 31 on Netflix, she tells son Brandon, “I really loved your father for all the right reasons and I really don’t think I loved anyone else. It’s fucking.’

She adds: “I think I’d rather be alone than not be with the father of my kids. I think it’s impossible to be with anyone else… but I also don’t think I could be with Tommy. It’s almost like punishment.”

Anderson, 55, was married to Lee from 1995 to 1998. They famously married on a beach in Cancun, Mexico, after a four-day hurricane courtship.

The marriage ended after Lee attacked her while holding her six-week-old son, Dylan. He was sentenced to six months in prison.

She’s candid in the film about her romantic disasters — from an early love who caught her washing his penis in the sink (“Suspicious,” she wrote in her journal) to husband Rick Salomon, whom she married twice .

The first time around the union ended after she said she found his crack pipe in the Christmas tree. “To this day he denies that it belonged to him,” she says.

She also claims that actor Sylvester Stallone offered her a love deal. They dated in 1989 between Stallone’s second and third marriages.

Anderson said: “He offered me a condo and a Porsche to be his number one girl and I was like, ‘Does that mean there’s a number two girl? – No, uh. And he says, ‘That’s the best deal you’re going to get, honey, you’re in Hollywood now.’ But I really wanted to be in love, and I didn’t want less than that.’

Other loves included actors Mario Van Peebles, Scott Baio and David Charvet. At one point in the documentary, she reads an entry in her journal that says, “I woke up at Mario’s, went home to change, then went to Scott’s,” and laughs and says, “Why should I write it down at all because God forbids you? a documentary and find out what a whore you are!’

There are words of affection for surfer Kelly Slater, but he was stunned to discover that the girlfriend he was about to fly to Florida to meet family had married someone else: Tommy Lee.

Anderson tells the story of their romance for a laugh, pointing out that she barely knew Lee and asked him what her married name would be (she thought his name was Tommy Lee Jones, confusing him with the actor).

On their first night together, she took ecstasy with her champagne, and the night was “one big happy patch”.

She says, “What was different about Tommy was that there were no secrets, there was no deceit, there was no play, it was really just an explosive heart-to-heart kind of love. We didn’t know each other and it ended up being one of the wildest and most beautiful love affairs of all time.”

She was devastated after losing her first baby to a miscarriage while filming Barb Wire. And after the birth of eldest son Brandon, there were “red flags” in the behavior of Lee, who she calls “a talented romantic and a bad drunk.”

He was jealous, which she found “cute” and showed up on the set of “Baywatch” and caught her eye when she had romantic storylines. After she kissed an actor for a storyline, he vandalized her trailer on set.

She said the changes that came with family life made her husband feel left out, and a falling out ensued in 1998 that ended the marriage.

“I think Tommy went through a little bit postpartum…Tommy wanted, I want my wife back, I want my wife back. At that point I didn’t know what to do.

“I just said, ‘I friggin need help here, you need to grow up. It’s not about you anymore.’ I had never spoken to him like that before. I didn’t recognize him. He turned black and then I started hyperventilating with fear. Brandon was shaking and screaming and holding my leg so I called 911 and hung up the phone.

He was arrested and charged with spousal and child abuse after he allegedly grabbed her arm and kicked her backwards, causing her to fall. Lee pleaded no contest to the husband’s assault and was sentenced to six months in prison.

Lee later said he thought she had filed charges because “she wanted an easy way out of a difficult situation.”

There were rumors that they might remarry in 1999, and in 2005 Lee said they were back together.

On the Netflix show, Anderson is filmed sorting through a stack of letters he wrote her from prison. “He really fought to keep us together. I had to split the divorce because he wouldn’t sign the papers. But that wasn’t a gray area for me – that’s not possible.”

She wrote in her diary: “I have never loved anyone so much, and by deeply I mean I loved their soul. I feel a part of me has died.’ She says their co-parenting was never easy as subsequent husbands disliked Lee.

“I think it all boils down to the fact that I never got over the fact that it didn’t work out with my children’s father.

“Even though I thought I could start a family or fall in love with someone else, I’m just not me.

“I think that’s probably why I keep failing in all my relationships. My parents were wild and crazy and hurt each other and us, but they are happy now.”

At Kid Rock, she didn’t experience the “frenzy” of her romance with Tommy Lee. She doesn’t even mention her brief marriage to film mogul Jon Peters.

Her last husband, builder Dan Hayhurst, will be released in a few moments. She says: “He’s a good Canadian. Normal. I just felt like I might have to try this. I do not know. Sometimes I don’t know if I’m alive or dead. I would love to live a romantic life every day.”

Son Dylan says: “She loves to get married. You know, maybe it’s her favorite thing in the world.”
