Pete Davidson has gotten “several” tattoos all over his body in honor of Kim Kardashian’s girlfriend – despite the fact that they’ve only been dating for four months – but she’s not the first mistress he’s boldly etched into his skin.

With references to an ex, his late father, and his favorite movie, the SNL star’s tattoos tell the story of his life – with some chapters written in front of the public.

Kardashian, 41, opened up about her many tattoos during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, saying her favorite Davidson tattoo is the inscription that reads, “My girlfriend is a lawyer.”

She also confirmed that her 28-year-old comedian boyfriend had the word “KIM” burned into his chest with a hot iron.

“He wanted to do something really different from [for me]Kardashian cooed, claiming that Davidson told her, “I don’t want to be able to get rid of it or hide it and I just wanted it to be a scar on me.”

Indeed, the prankster has removed some of his tattoos in recent years, including an ode to his ex-fiancee Ariana Grande.

According to Insider, Davidson had over 70 tattoos before he started laser-burning them in late 2020.

Last July, the Saturday Night Live star opened up about having his body art removed, saying he hopes to have most of his tattoos removed by the time he turns 30.

But while dozens of Davidson’s drawings seem completely random, including images of a white unicorn and Winnie the Pooh, many others are extremely sentimental.

Getting tattoos is an entirely emotional process for an outspoken comedian who has struggled with mental health issues.

The Staten Island native told Inked magazine back in 2019 that he gets tattoos because “it’s just an outlet” and a way to stop self-harm.

“When [I’m] so manic and upset that sometimes it’s the only thing that suits me, ”he said.

Here are some of Davidson’s most outstanding and outlandish drawings that reflect his turbulent and colorful past.

Odes to Ariana Grande

Davidson’s whirlwind romance with Grande began in May 2018, and the couple got engaged the following month.

Almost immediately, the prankster headed to the tattoo parlor to imprint his affection for the pop queen on his body.

On the cover of her Dangerous Woman album, Grande wore distinctive bunny ears, which prompted Davidson to get a tattoo under her left ear.

He also decided to inscribe the French phrase “Mille tendresse” – which means “a thousand tendernesses” – on the back of his head.

Grande herself had the exact same tattoo in the same spot, and Davidson believed his matching design was a cute way to show his love for the “God is a Woman” crooner.

But tattoo artists warned Davidson against impulsive ink.

Davidson copied Grande and used the French phrase "Mille tender" inscribed on his neck. After the split, he had a word "DAMN" adorns the top of the tattoo. Manhattan resident John Mesa, who has tattooed the comedian several times, allegedly told Davidson, “Hey man, let’s just stick with girlfriend tattoos until [Grande’s] Your wife.”

Mesa later told Page Six, “Relationships come and go and Pete is a really young man. [But] I think it went in one ear and went out the other.”

Indeed, the relationship between Davidson and Grande ended after just three months when the funny man was forced to cover up the tattoo he got.

He turned the rabbit ears into a love heart, and scrawled the word “DAMNED” on the back of his neck to hide the corresponding “Mille tendresse” inscription he had made for Grande.

Tribute to his father

While romances come and go, Davidson’s admiration for his late firefighter father is endless, so it’s unlikely he’ll laser out the tattoo he got in his father’s memory.

Davidson’s left bicep depicts a fireman kneeling with his head resting on his hand, a tribute to his father, Scott, who died on 9/11.

Davidson was only seven years old when his father passed away untimely, and the frankly emotional actor has admitted that his grief has turned into a depression that has affected him for nearly two decades.

Davidson also has his father's fire badge number. "8418" arm tattoo. Davidson also has a tattoo of his father’s “8418” firefighter badge on his left arm.

“It really was so hard for him [Peter] to recover, and I would even say that only recently he found his way and is doing well,” Amy, Davidson’s own mom, said of her son in a 2020 interview.

In addition to the firefighter drawing, Davidson also has a tattoo of his father’s badge number “8418” on his left forearm.

Motivational Quotes

Given Davidson’s struggles with anxiety and depression, it’s no wonder he finds solace in inspirational quotes.

Like many millennials, the comedian grew up reading Harry Potter and has an Albus Dumbledore quote written just below his father’s fire badge number.

A quote from Harry Potter and the Prison of Azkaban reads: “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, as long as you remember to turn on the light.”

Meanwhile, Davidson has a quote from one of his favorite films, Rocky, written in italics on his back.

“It’s not about how hard you hit,” the tattoo reads. “It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much can you take and keep moving forward.”

Davidson has another motivational phase on his left bicep that also serves as a tribute to his father.

The quote “Let me be alert and hear the faintest cry” is taken from the “Fireman’s Prayer” – a manifesto for those who work in the profession.

But while Davidson may have literary quotes on his body, he memorably had many more random phrases tattooed near his left nipple.

In a shirtless GQ photo shoot in 2018, the actor could be seen wearing a tattoo that read, “Jokes come and go, but swag is forever.”

The tattoo didn’t last long and he soon got a shark tattoo over the top.

Meanwhile, the shark is not the only animal in Davidson’s frame. The actor’s pale skin seems to have a whole zoo with a leopard, a crab, a pig named “Piggy Smalls” and a picture of Winnie the Pooh engraved on his body.

Political Pete

Davidson stunned fans back in 2017 when he debuted a tattoo on the leg of failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The image, which appears to have been copied from a photograph of the former first lady from the ’90s, even drew a reaction from Clinton herself.

After Davidson uploaded a photo of the body art to his now-defunct Instagram page, Clinton responded, “Thank you @petedavidson. It greatly reduces the awkwardness of having a Pete Davidson tattoo for years.”

However, Clinton isn’t the only female icon the funny man has captured in his frame.

In an effort to flaunt his feminist beliefs, Davidson also wears a tattoo of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on his right shoulder.
