'All My Children' star Alec Musser dies at 50

Actor Alec Musser, best known for his role as Del Henry on the soap opera “All My Children,” died on Friday. He was 50.

Musser died at his home in Del Mar, California, his fiancée Paige Press and his uncle Robert confirmed to TMZ.

Musser's cause of death was not disclosed.

“My heart is so broken…Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy,” Press wrote in a series of heartbreaking Instagram Stories.

“I will never take off my ring.”

The couple got engaged last year after more than six years of dating.

Musser, who previously had a career as a fitness model, rose to fame at the age of 31 for his role as Del Henry on All My Children.

The actor appeared in 43 episodes of the long-running soap opera between 2005 and 2007.

His role came when he won the second season of the SOAPnet original series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star” in 2005.

Musser had a limited career in front of the camera in the following years, but made several iconic appearances in “Desperate Housewives,” “Rita Rocks” and “Road to the Altar.”

The New York native also appeared in the 2010 film “Grown-ups,” co-written by Adam Sandler with Fred Wold.

“I loved this guy. I can't believe he's gone. Such a wonderful, funny, good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. “A truly great treasure of a person,” Sandler wrote on Instagram along with a clip of the film starring Musser.

The bodybuilder has also graced the covers of several magazines including Men's Health, Men's Workout, Exercise Health and more.

Musser regularly showed off the physique that made him famous on social media, as well as his love for skiing, surfing, his family and his dogs.

His last post was on Tuesday, when he posted what appeared to be a photo of himself surfing on a hoverboard during a winter sunset.

He captioned the shot: “Silhouette of Baja Winter Twilight.”
