All the clues Love Islands Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall

All the clues: Love Island’s Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall had split

They reportedly ended their relationship after three months together.

But it seems that the signs were set for Love Island’s Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, as there have been several hints that the couple would be going their separate ways.

There are a number of clues that the duo have been going through a rough patch in recent weeks, including solo work trips and cryptic social media posts.

The couple, who placed second at the show’s finale in March, lived more than 200 miles apart, which Ron said presented the biggest challenge.

Lana, 25, lives in Manchester while Ron, 25, lives in Essex and despite their best efforts, they have been unable to find a way to make their relationship work long-term.

Speaking to The Sun at the launch party of Ashley Banjo’s fashion line with Peacocks, Ron said: “It’s not forever.” In any relationship, moving in together is natural at some point.

“It’s weird that we get so many questions like, ‘When are you moving in?'” And you’re thinking… Considering we’ve only been dating a few months, it’s one of her big goals and one of mine Aims to buy an apartment up there and have our own bases down here.

“But right now we’ve been on the road for five/six weeks, I think we’re spending six or seven days apart, everyone was kind of kidding me when I said I wanted to miss them.”

“When I’m not with her, it’s actually pretty hard. It’s really hard.’

Observant social media followers also noticed that Lana had deleted comments about Ron from her account.

She then wrote on an Instagram story, “I’ve had a few days trying to be healthy and take some time for myself but I have a busy few weeks ahead so it’s that time again.”

Lana is currently on an influencer trip in Los Angeles with fashion brand Boohoo, which means she’s spending time away from Ron.

It was reported back in March that Lana and Ron’s romance had already faltered after they got into a heated argument on the plane flying home from South Africa.

The couple confirmed on Aftersun with Maya that the argument stemmed from Ron “drinking too much” and Lana having to take care of him.

A source told Web: “Unfortunately, they have decided to split, a decision they have taken amicably and of course they still remain good friends.”

Web exclusively announced that the Love Island stars have split on Tuesday after three months together.

Ron was the first visually impaired contestant to star on Love Island and ahead of his appearance on the ITV dating show he told Web he was hoping to find a partner who could also be his best friend.

They finished second at the show’s finale in March, after beating out winners Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan, who are still dating, for the £50,000 prize.

A source told Web: “Lana and Ron have really put everything into their romance and have been trying to make it work for some time.”

“Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, a decision they took amicably and of course they still remain good friends.”

“Commuting from Manchester to Essex and back whenever they wanted to spend time together and managing their work commitments proved just too difficult.”

Lana and Ron, 25, met on Love Island’s winter series, the first season of Maya Jama.

They’ve been a couple since day one, and although the newcomers to the mansion turned their heads, the two never failed to find a love for one another.

Ron shared a photo of him on vacation with Lana just last week and captioned the upload ‘Te Amo’, which means ‘I love you’ in Spanish.

Lana responded by posting a love heart emoji, but behind the scenes, the couple struggled to make their romance work.

Before he found fame on Love Island, Ron told Web that he hoped to change public perceptions of a stereotypical ‘Essex boy’ and show he was looking for true love in the villa.

He said: “Essex lads have a bad reputation for being quite toxic and having this player idea but that’s what sets me apart and makes me different because my parents gave me such a nice upbringing and taught me morals.”

“Hopefully I’m a lot more genuine, a caring person and a lot more respectful. I hope this side will overtake the bravery of Essex.”

Ron added, “I want someone I don’t have to talk to all the time.”

“I need to chat with someone I can talk to for hours almost like they’re my best friend, and that’s the dynamic I want in a relationship.”

“Between the ages of 18 and 23, I didn’t really have a lot of emotions when it came to being loved or opening up to a relationship. As I get older, I want to show more of that side and be more vulnerable.”
