The Brazilian elections for the President of the Republic are held in 181 cities in 106 countries outside the national territory

More than 697,000 voters will be able to vote for the President of the Republic outside Brazil’s borders this Sunday. Elections are held in 181 foreign cities in 106 countries. Abroad, only the election to the President of the Republic is possible.
According to the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), the number of voters increased by 39.21% from around 500,000 in 2018 to 697,000. In 2014 it was 354,000.
Lisbon in Portugal is the city with the most voters: 45,273. In the United States, Miami has 40,189 and Boston has 37,159. Other cities with large voters include Nagoya, Japan, with 35,651 voters and London, England, with 34,498.
On the other end, the Vatican, Bamako (Mali) and Abuja (Nigeria) are among the places with the fewest Brazilian voters: there is only one voter in each of these places.

Among citizens voting outside Brazil, women are the majority: 58.54%. For men, the rate drops to 41.46%.
Most voters voting outside the state are between 35 and 44 years old. This group includes 198,112 people, which is almost a third of the voters.
Among young people, there are 691 voters who will turn 16 on October 2 and another 1,144 who will turn 17.
Of the 106 countries where it will be possible to vote for the Brazilian president, 29 will receive canvas ballot boxes and vote by ballot. These are places where there are more than 30 and less than 100 voters.
