The collaboration between Amadeus and Lucio Presta, his long-time agent, has ended. The divorce comes just over a month and a half before the Sanremo festival, a defining moment for the artistic director, now in its final edition. The newspaper Italia Oggi reports on the separation of the two, which speaks of “differences on a professional and professional level” that are behind the separation of the two. A crisis that would have started a year ago. Further confirmation that Amadeus is no longer one of Presta's clients is the disappearance of the presenter's face from the website Arcobaleno tre, the agent's production company. Differences related to the Sanremo Festival may have been behind the separation. As Italia reports today, Amadeus has decided to increase its autonomy in making decisions regarding the festival. Not only on the selection of the competing singers, but above all on “that of the guests, over whom – continues Italia Oggi – Presta had more say in the past.” Lucio Presta's team includes Checco Zalone, fresh from the success of the “Amore+Iva” tour, as well as Roberto Benigni, Antonella Clerici, Paola Perego, Marco Liorni, Ezio Greggio, Eleonora Daniele and Giulio Golia. The collaboration with Paolo Bonolis is also historic. But this too appears to have reached a crisis. And like him, Barbara D'Urso, now no longer in Mediaset's plans, is trying to change agents.
