Amanda Holden, 52, insists she’s “not a slave” to fitness as she reveals her beauty secrets

Amanda Holden said she’s “not a slave” to her fitness regime as she revealed her beauty secrets and intentions in a new interview on Saturday.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, admitted she “loves food too much” and makes sure she sticks to her routine for her “own discipline and dignity”.

Known for her incredible figure, she has caused a lot of controversy, even drawing Ofcom complaints in the past for her revealing TV outfits.

But Amanda insists that she will never “take a back seat” like her grandmother’s generation, but will “flaunt” for as long as possible.

Speaking to The Times about how a “school-gate mom” achieves and keeps her good looks, the TV personality shared the details.

Radiant: Amanda Holden, 52, said she’s “not a slave” to her fitness regimen as she revealed her beauty secrets and intentions to “flaunt them” in a new interview on Saturday.

Speaking about her extensive fitness routine, Amanda revealed that in addition to Kundalini yoga practice and a “Viking training regimen,” she runs three to four miles every week.

Despite her somewhat intense-sounding exercise schedule, she reiterates that she doesn’t because she “feels like she did,” explaining the importance of balance.

“I’m not a slave to any beauty or fitness regime because I love food too much. I eat cheese and butter and I love a drink.

“But the deal I made with myself was that I have to run for my rose wine in the summer and my red wine in the winter. And I don’t do it because I feel like I have to; I’m doing it for my own discipline and dignity,” she told the publication.

Amanda joked that “it’s all downhill from your 20s,” but added that like Cher, you can turn back time with the right diet and exercise.

“I come from a generation of women who don’t want that [fade into the background] – We will flaunt our bits for as long as possible. I will definitely do that – even if they fall on the floor I will pick them up again,” she laughed.

It comes after Amanda revealed she will remain “definitely another year” as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.

The presenter, who has been on the ITV talent show for 17 years, told Web her aim is to reach 18 and jokingly said she never wants to leave.

In an exclusive interview, Amanda said: “I’ll probably be carried on a stretcher. I mean, I’m definitely doing another year after that.

“When I do 18 years, which it would be, I’m going to feel so privileged and lucky because it was never a job I expected to do for so long.

Amanda went on to speak out about new judge Bruno Tonioli, who was full of energy during filming for the show.

The former strict judge, 67, has joined the judging panel for comedian David, 51, who quit after 10 years on the show after making “disrespectful” comments about contestants from previous series.

Amanda explained: “Obviously we have a new judge, Bruno. It was like dropping a Berocca in some water and just watching it fizz.

She then squashed “feud” rumors as she said: “He had never seen the show so it was all new to him. It was nice to see it with new eyes. I think he really enjoyed it and we tried to make him feel welcome and he did a good job.

It comes weeks after Amanda and Alesha reportedly refused to sign deals for BGT’s latest series.

The duo are said to have been furious that new judge Bruno will be comparing his new salary to his own – an estimated £850,000.

According to The Sun, Amanda and Alesha have thrown the latest series into chaos as bosses scramble to secure the TV favorites ahead of filming in London last month.

A source told the publication at the time: “Amanda has been with BGT for 17 years while Alesha is in her 11th year. They don’t think it’s fair for a newcomer to come on the show and get the same deal as them.

Speaking further about what viewers can expect on this year’s show, Amanda told Web: “There was a lot of hilarity, a lot of people are using their body parts to play instruments.

“We had a lot of things that you wouldn’t normally think would be entertaining, and funnily enough, even Simon enjoyed it, which he didn’t have three or four years ago.”
