AMAs 2022: Joan Smalls flaunts a VERY leggy dress in a risqué gold dress with thigh cleats

Joan Smalls showed off extremely leggy while attending the 2022 American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theater at LA LIVE in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Supermodel Joan, 34, showed off her incredible legs in a shimmering gold dress with a very high slit that revealed her lingerie as she posed.

The dress featured side cutouts and a full skirt and was paired with towering gold heels.

Her tresses were styled sleek and straight and she wore smoky eye makeup.

She posed with musician Brent Faiyaz, with whom she starred in the All Mine music video.

Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny landed the most nominations at this year’s American Music Awards.

He tops fellow rapper Drake and pop superstars Beyonce and Taylor Swift on the list of contenders.

Bad Bunny received a total of eight AMA nominations and goes up against British singers Adele and Harry Styles and Canadian musician The Weeknd for artist of the year.

Drake, Beyonce and Swift are also in the running for artist of the year and each received six nominations.

Nominations are based on appearances on the Billboard music charts, streaming and album sales, radio play, and social media engagement.

Winners will be determined by fan votes and announced at the ceremony at the Microsoft Theater at LA LIVE in Los Angeles.

Bad Bunny’s other nods included Favorite Male Pop Artist, Favorite Music Video, and Favorite Artist on Tour.

The singer set a record this year for the highest-grossing tour by a Latin American artist in history. His album Un Verano Sin Ti just topped the Billboard charts for a 13th week.

If Bad Bunny wins all eight awards for which he is eligible, he would tie 1980s superstars Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston for most AMA wins in a single year.

The organizers added a category for the most popular K-pop artist this year. Competitors are BTS, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, Tomorrow X Together and Twice.

First-time AMA nominees included rapper Jack Harlow, K-pop band BLACKPINK and Scandinavian DJ group Swedish House Mafia.

In the country music categories, nominees for Favorite Male Country Artist include Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen.

Carrie Underwood, Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert will compete for Favorite Country Artist.

Pink will honor the late Olivia Newton-John with a musical performance at the show.

The performance in Newton-John’s memory follows her death in August at the age of 73 after a year-long battle with breast cancer.

The popular British-Australian singer and actress has long been associated with the awards show.

She co-hosted the ceremony with Aretha Franklin and Glen Campbell in 1976, two years before her film success spread to the United States with her role in Grease in 1978.

Newton-John was also presented with 10 AMAs during her long career.

Pink (real name: Alecia Moore) was previously announced as a cast member at the AMAs and her tribute number will be her second appearance of the night.

The hitmaker will also present her new single ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again’ live.

Lionel Richie is also honored at the ceremony, where he is presented with the Icon Award.

Stevie Wonder will lead the performance for his contemporary, while Charlie Puth and Ari Lennox will join the keyboard virtuoso for a medley of Richie’s most popular material.

The ceremony, which will be hosted by Wayne Brady, announced performances by Carrie Underwood, Imagine Dragons, JID and Yola, among others.

Bebe Rexha and David Guetta will perform their hit song I’m Good (Blue), while Dove Cameron will make her debut on the show with a performance of her song Boyfriend.

Rappers GloRilla and Anitta will also make their performance debuts at the show.

At the 2021 ceremony, K-pop icon BTS racked up the most wins with three including Best Female Artist of the Year, while most-nominated singer Olivia Rodrigo was named New Artist of the Year.

The seven-piece South Korean pop boy band, who also earned Favorite Pop Group or Duo and Favorite Pop Song, received the night’s most coveted Crystal Pyramid trophy as they beat heavyweights like Ariana Grande, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift , and The Weeknd.
