Amazon employee promises revenge on those who order water

An Amazon employee has taken to TikTok to express his frustration with customers ordering heavy items, specifically calling out those buying water and dog food.

The video, posted by TikTok user @thatamazonguyy, quickly went viral, reaching over 754,000 views and sparking debate in the comments.

In the video, the Amazon employee, who reportedly works as a trainer at the company, discussed the difficulties of a recent shift. Since he voluntarily decided to work a special shift, he was assigned the role of an order picker, which involves handling heavy items and packages.

“Since I'm a coach, most of you should know that coaches don't really do much, we sit on our asses all day. I already knew it was going to be a hard day,” he said in the video.

He continued: “Tell me why everything else I picked was either Fiji water or f***ing dog food? Are you telling me you run out of water, go on Amazon, and wait 2-3 business days to get your damn water, bro? What are you drinking in the meantime? Go to the store with your lazy fellows and buy water like normal people do.”

The TikToker then highlighted the difficulty of the job, asking viewers to “imagine a 50-year-old lady” working in his place, before issuing a warning: “Next time I'm picking and see some water, I will.” I will replace your Fiji water with Aquafina. When you buy dog food, I replace half of the dog food with cat food.”

The video received mixed reactions in the comments section. Some viewers sympathized with the TikToker's perspective, while others defended customers who rely on online shopping.

A commenter who claims to be an Amazon driver shared the sentiment, saying, “Cat litter and water are the things I HATE, especially when it goes into an apartment.”

Some commenters highlighted the challenges faced by older people, with one saying: “But there are old people who can't go to the shops and can't lift these heavy items to order them…just saying.”

“My grandmother is 81, if she has to order it, then so be it!” a second echoed.

Another commenter explained, “Just because of this video I now order my water through Amazon lmao.”
