While the new Google Pixel 8 series will be unveiled in early October, we can expect drastic price cuts compared to previous generations. This is currently the case with one of the latest models, the Google Pixel 7 Pro, whose price on Amazon drops from 899 euros to 699 euros as part of a limited time offer.

As the successor to the legendary Google Pixel 6 series, which once held the title of best camera phone, the Google Pixel 7 Pro continues this momentum. It’s not the most efficient high-end smartphone, but the camera is widely expected to have the Google Pixel and we can’t be disappointed when it comes to the Pixel 7 Pro’s camera. To be able to afford a high-end smartphone below market prices, this is the case with Amazon, as the Google Pixel 7 Pro loses 200 euros compared to its launch price.
The Google Pixel 7 Pro in a few points

- Pixel Experience’s interface is still as pleasant as ever
- A high quality camera phone!

Where to buy
Google Pixel 7 Pro at the best price?
One of the best photophones of 2023
The Google Pixel 7 Pro is, first and foremost, a smartphone with a sophisticated design that generally uses the same formula as the Pixel 6 Pro, with the photo block taking up the entire width of the back. No revolution in sight, but a little more sophistication. The 6.7-inch screen is an AMOLED panel in QHD+ resolution (3,120 x 1,440 pixels) with an adaptive refresh rate of 10 to 120 Hz. If the colorimetry of the screen does not meet the manufacturer’s promises, the brightness reaches its peak with more than 1300 cd/m², which is outstanding!
Let’s move on to what arouses the most interest in this Google Pixel 7 Pro: its camera. This has the following configuration: a 50 Mpx main wide-angle sensor (f/1.85), a 12 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor (f/2.2) and a 48 Mpx x5 telephoto lens (f/1.85). 3.5). This doesn’t seem impressive at first glance; some competitors, for example, have already equipped themselves with a 108 Mpx sensor, but the Google Pixel 7 Pro manages to take all of its shots thanks to the image processing that works real wonders.
Halfway between high-end and ultra-high-end
The Google Pixel caused a stir at the time of the Pixel 6, as it was the first generation to feature Google’s first in-house SoC, the Google Tensor (we later learned that the SoC was the result of a collaboration with Samsung). The Pixel 7 Pro features second-generation Tensor with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and falls far short of its ultra-high-end rivals in terms of performance, struggling to run 3D games.
According to the Mountain View company, the Google Pixel 7 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery that lasts more than 24 hours. In our test we measured a day and a half; reaching the end of the second day should be possible thanks to the ultra battery saving mode. The question of charging, however, is problematic and even annoying. Don’t be fooled by the manufacturer’s words announcing fast charging with the official 30W charger, as the Pixel 7 Pro only does up to 23W. Even with the official charger, the charging process is rather slow, it takes two hours to restore the 100W% of the battery.
