Amazon Prime Video is a streaming platform that manages to offer its users many interesting films over and over again. What we’re referring to this time really got everyone excited and has caused many people to flock to social media, especially TikTok, to talk about it. We’re referring to Is It My Fault?, a product that people like for a variety of reasons. First, the story, as simple as it is, manages to blend the romantic genre well with others.
The cast is also interesting, made up of actors that Spanish audiences have already appreciated in “Skam” (in the Iberian version, of course): Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara. But what is the film about? Well, the focus of the plot is Noah, a girl who moves into the very rich house of her mother’s new husband. Here he meets his half-brother Nick, with whom the relationship is initially very ambivalent. But soon the two fall in love, but more than one thing stands in the way.
First, Nick turns out to be violent in some behaviors (not with Noah, but that doesn’t matter much because he reminds her of her biological father who tried to kill her in the past). Secondly, of course, the parents of the two do not want the forbidden relationship to continue. The story moves from romantic to “less romantic” when Noah’s father is released from prison and tries to track her down to get her out. Nick comes to her aid as a fearless and flawless rider – only the horse in this case is a racing car. There seems to be a happy ending, but the parents remain against it, so who knows what will happen in the second and third chapters (which should be out in the next few years).

After Amazon Prime Video literally gets rich with It’s My Fault, it’s Netflix’s turn to captivate audiences with a film that fans of its predecessor will surely appreciate. The title is Out of My Window and it’s another Spanish film, this time from 2022. It’s directed by Marçal Forés and written by Eduard Sola.
Common to “It’s My Fault” is the fact that both are based on a novel. The first is by Mercedes Ron, the second by Ariana Godoy. Of course the actors are different. In fact, the three protagonists are Julio Pena Fernández, Clara Galle and Pilar Castro. From February 4th, From My Window will be available on Netflix. And if you enjoyed the Amazon Prime Video movie then you will definitely check it out because the plot is similar.
Raquel, the protagonist, is a girl who has a crush on her neighbor, the Latin lover Ares Hidalgo. It doesn’t take long for him to fall in love with her too, but again, more than one thing intervenes to put the brakes on their relationship.
