Amazon Prime thriller Citadel, starring one of Meghan Markle’s best friends Priyanka Chopra, grossly sexually insults Princess Kate

- She has spoken out for Meghan many times, including before the wedding
A big-budget thriller starring one of the Duchess of Sussex’s best friends makes a crude and sexual reference to the Princess of Wales.
Airing on streaming giant Amazon Prime, ‘Citadel’ stars Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jones, who has repeatedly publicly supported Meghan.
Ms. Chopra Jones, 41, plays the lead actress, elite spy agent Nadia Sinh, in the five-part spy action series.
And in the third episode, she is involved in a scene with a crime boss named Balduino Basto, played by Sen Monro.
Richard Madden’s character Mason Kane visits Basto in Morocco at Nadia’s direction and she speaks into his ear.

Basto is then asked to help break into the army chief’s office.
It prompts him to say, “The Chief of the Armed Forces? You might as well have asked me how to get between the Duchess of Cambridge’s legs!’
Last week it was claimed that the new live-action remake of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, one of the Duchess of Sussex’s favorite films, contains a dig at her sister-in-law.
A critic who saw an early screening of the film noted the apparent mockery of the Princess of Wales in the film’s script.
The reviewer pointed to the scene where Ariel and Prince Eric meet after she gives up her voice to get to the surface and he has to try to guess her name.
He said, “His first guess is Diana.” His second guess is Catherine, but after that [Ariel gives a disgusted] reaction, he [concludes] “OK, definitely not Catherine.”
“Disney would be disingenuous to suggest that the choice of name was accidental.”
Ms Chopra Jonas and the Duchess of Sussex, 41, became friends when they met at an Elle magazine event in 2016 and shortly thereafter the Duchess of Sussex interviewed for her blog The Tig, which no longer exists. They were also seen together at the theater on New York’s Broadway, where they saw the musical Hamilton shortly thereafter.

In 2018, Ms. Chopra Jones wrote an open letter about her friend ahead of the royal wedding in 2018, around the time Meghan made the TIME 100 list.
She said: “More than anything, Meghan is a vital influencer in a world that needs strong public figures to respect and look up to.”
“People to inspire the world.” “Meghan, side by side with Harry, will be a princess to the people.”
Ms Chopra Jonas also staunchly defended the Duchess after the marriage, telling the Sunday Times in 2019: “If there’s anyone who can handle this, it’s her.”
She added that the criticism “is about racism” and that Markle “has always been the girl who wanted to make a difference.”
Citadel is one of the most expensive TV shows, with a production budget approaching £300m. It premiered on April 28 and a second season was recently commissioned.
