The actress then said that, without giving the date, she was on the sofa with Depp, having a “normal” conversation and asking him about a tattoo on his arm that was “difficult to read”. “He said ‘Wino,'” probably in reference to actress Winona Ryder, who was his girlfriend. Heard further claimed her then-husband hit her again after calling her a “funny bitch” and then made it clear “it wasn’t a joke.”

“You would think I would have an answer, but as a woman I’ve never been hit like that. I’m an adult and I’m sitting next to the man I love and he hit me for no reason it seems. I did not understand anything. That was so stupid,” he assured the court.
