Ambyr Childers issued a restraining order against embattled producer Randall Emmett

Months after she filed for a restraining order against ex-husband Randall Emmett, actress Ambyr Childers was finally granted one.

Emmett, 51, was told to stay 100 yards from Childers, 34, who he was married to for eight years from 2009 to 2017, according to The Los Angeles Times.

He was also banned from contacting Childers unless it was for a “brief and peaceful interaction” about visiting their daughters London, 12, and Rylee, 9.

Childers’ first request for a domestic violence restraining order was denied due to a lack of evidence, though she filed a new request… after being contacted by the FBI.

She revealed in the request filed in late December that she was contacted on December 6 by the FBI, who asked her about Emmett’s “alleged child exploitation and pedophilia activities.”

She said in the statement that the FBI’s call caused “extreme destruction and disruption.” [her] emotional calm and peace of mind.’

She added that she was concerned because her daughters were “often alone” with their father.

Childers went on to plead that she did not want to “take the risk” of her children being with Emmett if “federal law enforcement issued either an arrest warrant or a search warrant on him or on his premises.”

An FBI spokesman told the Times they were “unable to confirm or deny the existence of an investigation” due to FBI policy.

While Childers declined to comment on the report, Emmett himself vehemently denied that it was being investigated by the FBI.

“[I’m]under investigation by the FBI or anyone else, and the idea that I am is beyond absurd,” Emmett said in a statement.

“There’s no evidence I’m being investigated for anything. I’m shocked and completely incredulous that Ambyr would even allude to something so disgusting and untrue,” Emmett added.

Emmett, who shares joint custody of her children with Childers, claimed that her claims “were aimed at harming my career without any evidence whatsoever.”

However, after Childers filed the petition, the Times spoke to and provided information to three other people who were also contacted by the FBI about Emmett.

While Childer’s request for a restraining order has been granted, a hearing for her domestic violence restraining order will be held on January 12.

Emmett’s attorney, Heather M. Patrick, claimed that attorneys on both sides were working to “resolve the baseless allegation worldwide,” though Childers’ attorney Larry Bakman denied it.

“The court issued protective orders against Randall Emmett on the condition that there was prima facie evidence of abuse. If Emmett claims she’s lying, he should raise the matter in court rather than the media,” Bakman said.

Bakman added, “I can confirm that Emmett’s previous attorney never came forward to discuss a settlement,” and he was “open to discussing the terms and conditions of a settlement on behalf of my client.”

Emmett came under fire back in June when an LA Times investigation found the producer traded acting roles for sexual favors.

The investigation added that he still owes millions of dollars to various investors and that he has forced assistants to engage in illegal behavior on his behalf, all of which Emmett denied.

Childers claimed in her most recent court filing that Emmett was “physically and emotionally abusive” during their marriage.

She added that when he asked her to sign a post-marital financial agreement in 2015 and she refused, he was so upset that he put his left hand on her neck and “squeezed with such force that [Childers] had trouble breathing.’

Childers claimed that Emmett “again tried to strangle Childers” in 2016 when he brought up the proposed agreement again.

Emmett’s trial attorney, Suann C. MacIsaac, said in another statement, “Mr. Emmett adamantly denies all allegations in Ms. Childer’s recent statement.’
