AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D Ryzen 5 5600GT Ryzen 5 5500GT

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D, Ryzen 5 5600GT, Ryzen 5 5500GT will launch early next year with Ryzen 8000 series APUs – notebookcheck.biz

A previous leak revealed AMD’s two new X3D processors on the AM4 platform: the Ryzen 5 5500X3D and the Ryzen 7 5700X3D. Today another leak on Weibo, ECSM_officialclaims that AMD plans to market the two models separately. In the first quarter of 2024, only the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D model will be released, without knowing when the cheaper Ryzen 5 5500X3D model will be released.

The AMD Ryzen 5 5700X3D model is complemented by subsequent Ryzen 8000G models such as the Ryzen 7 8700G, the Ryzen 5 8600G and the Ryzen 5 8500G. There are also non-X3D components based on Zen 3, namely the Ryzen 5 5600GT and the Ryzen 5 5500GT. They could launch as an overclocked (or underclocked) variant of the already popular Ryzen 5 5600G ($122 at Amazon).

AMD’s Q1 portfolio essentially consists of three Zen 3 models and three Zen 4 models, largely aimed at price-conscious users who want to build a PC without a dedicated graphics card. The Ryzen 7 5700X3D, if priced right, could decimate Intel’s (and possibly AMD’s) entire mid-range lineup.

The inherent instability of the AM5 platform makes AM4-based CPUs like the Ryzen 7 5700X3D and Ryzen 5 5500X3D strong contenders for budget high-performance PCs, especially when paired with a graphics card like the GeForce RTX 4060.
