O Till death do us part was short lived for Hubert and June Malicote, both with 100 years🇧🇷
The love story ended last week when American centenarians died within hours🇧🇷
“They Went Together”her son Sam, 76, told the Dayton Daily News from Ohio (USA).
June became seriously ill after throwing a pizza party for her family on Thanksgiving Day (11/24). Later that night, the greatgrandmother was put in palliative care to have an accompanied and dignified end of life, and Hubert simply “collapsed” with the news.
“He really broke down”said Sam. Seeing June in such a condition was too much for Hubert, whose health deteriorated immediately afterwards, prompting his family to do so also commit him to the same hospital for terminally ill patients, to the same room where his beloved was🇧🇷
The couple remained unconscious there hold handsuntil Hubert died on November 30 at 9:15 p.m.
Her son told his father about it “died of a broken heart”🇧🇷 His wife died just 20 hours later, on December 1st at 5:40 p.m.
“I’m sad but I shouldn’t”said Sam. “Who can expect to live such a life? They lived long and happy lives together, devoted to God and family.”he added.

Hubert and June met in 1941 at church in their home state of Kentucky. Hubert enlisted in the Navy the following winter and continued to keep in touch with June throughout this time took part in World War II🇧🇷
“When I saw her I said she was a good one”Hubert told Cincinnatibased WKRCTV in July in honor of he and his wife’s 100th birthdays.
The young lovebirds met when Hubert was sent home on vacation for just 13 days each. On his second return home, the sailor proposed to his girlfriend The two married without knowing if or when Hubert would return🇧🇷 He returned from the war and they started a family with three children, seven grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren.
