A new poll released Sunday shows 43 percent of Americans believe both President Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump are too old to serve in the Oval Office.
WASHINGTON, United States — A new poll released Sunday shows 43 percent of Americans believe both President Joe Biden and his predecessor Donald Trump are too old to serve another term in the Oval Office.
Biden’s age is a hot topic in relation to his re-election aspirations because if he wins he would be 82; while Trump would arrive at the start of a second term at 78, an age considered too old to fill the presidency, The Hill newspaper highlights.
A Washington Post and ABC News poll found that 28 percent of voters are satisfied with the ages of both candidates; another third said Trump is honest and trustworthy, while 41 percent said the same about current President Biden.
Joe Biden began his campaign for another term as president, joining Donald Trump in a race that could end up becoming a repeat of the 2020 presidential election. Some polls suggest Biden would claim victory if the election was held today takes place.
