Considered by many to be THE containment game, Between us has made it possible to bring many isolated people together in these difficult times. There is no need to introduce this party game, you probably already know the principle. The game was enriched first by community mods and then by official updates been forgotten since spring 2021.
However, publisher Inner Sloth announced a few months ago that VR version might revive community interest!
When is Among Us in VR?
Presented game prizes Last December, the virtual reality version of Among Us may not be far behind. Originally scheduled for November 10th, the SteamDB API announcing the future update was changed on April 15th and the date is now pushed back to December 13, 2022 (Source : pcgamesn). The date is subject to change This is absolutely not an official announcement.
However, Inner Sloth has announced that they will be attending the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase next Wednesday from Facebook, so maybe we’ll have more information then. At least we hope so! Among Us VR is currently scheduled to continue MetaQuest 2, PlayStation VR and Steamwithout the ability to play with people who aren’t on the VR version.

Does the game still have a community?
Of course, we are very far away from the 2021 hype and have been for a long time. The very intense but also very short mode will have kept the players on their toes overall from late 2020 to early 2021, a bit more. Today there are very few streams of the game left and it is no longer trending on Steam at all.
However, it should be noted that some regular updates are made to Among Us, mostly just to make corrections, but we will still have had the right to do so new mapsfrom new roles and from many cosmetics via Battle Pass Cash.
Some hardcore fans of the game never left it. If you are nostalgic for the game you can find every Tuesday and Friday Lives organized notably by MisterJDay and DrFeelGoodwith a certain number of regular participants and others much more punctual.
If you are tempted by a little game, you are sure to find people in their respective communities to play with you. So the game might be dead compared to what it used to be, but it still exists in people’s minds and could therefore reappear at any time.
