Amy has been open about how doctors closely monitored her with weekly check-ups after her waters ruptured early during her previous pregnancies with daughter Polly and also son Ritchie.
Write for her OK! In the magazine’s column, the star explained the birth could be natural or via caesarean, although the latter was booked.
Describing her plan as “open-ended,” Amy shared, “Like I’ve said from day one – if I can go of course I will. My saying of the year is ‘anything can happen’.’
“While the twins aren’t coming immediately, doctors are concerned because my waters went with my previous pregnancies, so it could happen at any time,” she continued.
The cesarean section is the surgical procedure where the babies are delivered through an incision in Amy’s abdomen rather than a vaginal delivery. The procedure is often performed when a natural birth would endanger the mother.
Adding that things are looking good from previous scans, Amy shared that she could stay pregnant for up to 38 weeks before giving birth as the twins are not identical.
