Amy Hart is engaged! The Love Island star reveals his boyfriend Sam Rason proposed after he got down on one knee while at the theater
Amy Hart has confirmed her engagement to Sam Rason after he proposed during a night out in London.
The 31-year-old reality star, who rose to fame after appearing on Love Island in 2019, welcomed her son Stanley with boyfriend Sam Rason, 33, in March.
And she was shocked when her partner fell to his knees during a glittering surprise proposal at the theater.
Citing lyrics from “I’ll Be Here” – a number from the obscure 9/11 musical “Ordinary Days” – avid musical theater fan Amy announced her engagement to Instagram followers on Monday.
She wrote: “And he said…Hey, what are you doing for the rest of your life?” Truly the biggest surprise ever. We are so happy (I literally thought I was watching show rehearsals, that’s why I don’t have any shoes on).”

Amy then took to her Instagram Stories to share a picture of herself on stage with Sam, where she admitted she was “too dazed to speak” and burst into tears as a result.
She wrote: “‘The woman was so stunned that she couldn’t speak, so she laughed nervously and cried a little.’
Amy was inundated with congratulatory messages from other famous faces, including Geordie Shore legend Vicky Pattison: “Congratulations, amazing!!!” That’s lovely.
West End star Lucie Jones, known for her roles in Wicked and Waitress, added: “Ahhhhh great congratulations!!!”
Actress Alice Fearn – who played Elphaba in Wicked before Lucie took on her own role – wrote: “I couldn’t be happier for you darling.”
Elsewhere, YouTube star Louise Pentland posted: “Oh my god congratulations” and decorated her comment with a series of clapping emojis.
In another update, the happy couple were seen enjoying a glass of champagne, with sometime Loose Women star Amy admitting that she’s usually aware of everything that’s going on but just arranges it all became that she had no idea.
She said, “So yeah, fiancé!” No floors were polished. So that I wouldn’t run into Sam when he boarded the ship, no new trailers were set up.

Amy rose to fame on 2019’s Love Island, where she famously left the villa after being dumped by her “half-boyfriend” Curtis Pritchard.
The beauty first made her official relationship with boyfriend Sam in March 2022 and the couple announced they were expecting their first child together back in August 2022 on an episode of Loose Women.
She explained that having opened up about her fertility journey in the past, the show was “the only place I could announce that I was pregnant” before posting snaps of her baby scan on Instagram.
Amy has openly documented undergoing three rounds of egg freezing – two of which were successful and resulted in 12 eggs being frozen at a cost of £12,000.
However, she revealed that despite her fertility concerns, she conceived naturally and that the news was a surprise as it was “unplanned”.
