Separated spouses Amy Robach and Andrew Shue have been seen together for the first time since the GMA3 host’s affair with co-star TJ Holmes left their marriage in tatters.
The soon-to-be ex-boyfriends reunited at a Greenwich Village park on Friday morning to hand over custody of their Maltipoo Brody family, who they had shared in happier times as a married couple.
Amy, 49, who has been caring for the pooch, arrived at their meeting point first just before 9am and walked through the park while waiting for her estranged husband.
Shue, 55, appeared a few moments later and greeted the very excited pup with rubs and head-scratches.

Looking somber, the actor was dressed casually in a gray lightweight down jacket, hoodie, black sweatpants and trainers.
Amy, on the other hand, stayed warm in a brown two-tone fleece track jacket, blue jeans and brown boots.
The couple seemed cordial but tense and distant as they chatted briefly on the sidewalk before breaking off and going their separate ways.
The suspended TV presenter, who has been married to the TV star since 2010, looked dejected and emotional as she handed over her dog and left the park alone.
She then made her way to lover TJ Holmes’ home in the Financial District, where she has been spotted arriving and leaving numerous times since their secret relationship came to light.
The adorable Maltese Poodle mix has been part of Robach and Shue’s blended family since 2014.
Amy has two daughters – Ava, 20, and Analise, 16 – from her previous marriage to Tim McIntosh and was stepmom to Shue’s three sons with ex-wife Jennifer. The couple have no children of their own.

Amy and Andrew, who have been married since 2010, share custody of Brody, whom they welcomed into their family in 2014. The lovable pet was often seen on Amy and Andrew’s social media and even made several appearances at ABC studios
In a 2019 interview, the broadcast journalist gushed over the family’s beloved dog, revealing that he had been “the perfect prescription” when she was undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer.
Amy, pictured after her cancer diagnosis in 2014, revealed she decided to take Brody in while she underwent treatment
“I’ve always said no to my kids when they asked for a dog, but when fear and sadness invaded our home with my cancer diagnosis, you (Brody) were the perfect perfect recipe,” she said in a video showing she read a ‘letter to her dog’.’
The lovable pet has often been featured on social media by Amy and Andrew and has even made several appearances at ABC studios.
She joked in the interview that “people want selfies with him more than they do with me.”
“Sometimes I come home and I’m like, ‘Hey guys, I’m home!’ and nobody comes to say hello except Brody,” Amy laughed.
“Then I read that as a breed, Maltese dogs are very friendly and are attracted to the saddest person in the room.”
Robach, who announced she was diagnosed with cancer in November 2013, said she was in the middle of treatment when she woke up one morning and told Andrew, ‘Let’s get a dog.’
Continuing her letter to her beloved pet, she said, “You brightened up our home with your sweet face and your kind and gentle cuddles brought laughter back to our family when we needed it most.”
Both Holmes and Robach have not returned to the airwaves since being suspended from their roles as hosts of GMA3, ABC’s lunchtime extension of Good Morning America, on December 2.

Robach and Holmes have spent a lot of time together since they were taken off the air in early December
The co-hosts initially seemed calm about the scandal, but were eventually suspended from the show on December 2 pending an internal review of their affair. They are seen arm in arm in Manhattan a few days before Christmas
But sources tell : “Amy and TJ have not been fired. The situation is still in limbo.
“But the longer the indecision lasts, the less likely it becomes that they’ll do GMA3 together again. However, their relationship has never violated company policy.’
The insiders added, “They are both very talented professionals and are expected to find other alternatives for them on the network.”
Despite the ongoing investigation, the lovers have continued to spend time together, and just last week Robach was spotted leaving Holmes’ flat, hours after his estranged wife first spoke out against their secret affair.
Marilee Fiebig spoke through her divorce lawyer – and exclusively to – about Holmes’ ‘lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity’ as their 12-year marriage publicly collapsed.
“During the holiday season and in the face of challenging times, Marilee has focused solely on the general wellbeing of her nine-year-old daughter,” said attorney Stephanie Lehman.

Brody has appeared on the former couple’s social media accounts and has even visited ABC studios on several occasions
The TV presenter shared a heartwarming photo of the dog posing over a doormat that read “SHUEBACH” — a made-up word from Amy and Andrew’s last names
“To that end, TJ’s attorney and I have worked together to advance her divorce in a private, expeditious, and as amicable manner as possible,” said Lehman, head of the New York/New Jersey family law practice, Phillips Nizer.
“Nonetheless, we remain disappointed by TJ’s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity towards Marilee and the party’s daughter.
“Marilee was touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a fresh start in this new year.”
Holmes and Fiebig – whose only child Sabine turned 10 on January 6 – have been married for 12 years, as have Robach and her husband, former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue.
Marilee, 45, an attorney, is the chief diversity officer for the Save the Children Foundation.
Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, she was formerly the Vice President of Operations and General Counsel at model agency Wilhelmina and Chief of Staff at entertainment company Roc Nation.
Prior to their affair, Amy and TJ had a close friendship that involved each other’s spouses. They are pictured training with Andrew Shue for the marathon early last year

Sources told that Holmes and Robach crossed the line from close friends and co-stars to lovers last June while covering the Queen’s Jubilee in London.
Until now, both Fiebig and Shue, 55, have remained silent about the affair that destroyed their marriages. It is unknown how both found out about the romance, but both couples split in August.
On December 29, it was reported that Holmes was filing for divorce, but no filings have yet been listed with the New York Supreme Court.
Amy and her estranged husband Shue are currently in divorce mediation, DailyMail has learned.
